GROOMING
Here at Hitchens, all grooming is done on the premises of our quiet family home, a truly different environment from the busy sights and sounds found in commercial salons. 
Dogs in our care are encouraged to have breaks throughout their groom in our secure grass filled yard, where they can find toys, beds, and the best patch of sun for a snooze.
All grooming is done one on one by Mary, with the occasional helping hand of her family members if needed. We find that the dogs truly feel comfort in familiarising themselves with a singular person, rather than being passed around to various employees. Please note that by booking in for a groom with Hitchens Dog Wash & Grooming, you are accepting all Terms and Conditions listed on this site.

Pricing for each service will vary according to the time spent working on your dog, which is dependant on coat condition and behaviour. A quote will be given once your dog has been properly assessed.

 

Size Guide:

​

Small: Chihuahua, Miniature Yorkie.

​

Medium: Cavalier, Cocker Spaniel.

​

Large: Labrador, Golden Retriever. 

​

FULL SERVICE GROOM

Our full service option includes having your dog completely clipped to the length of your choosing, along with a bath, blow dry, brush out, nail cut and ear clean.

TIDY UP GROOM

 

Our tidy up option includes a bath, blow dry, brush out, nail cut, ear clean, and a light trim of the face, ears, paws and hygiene / sanitary areas.

WASH AND BLOW DRY

 

A simple wash, blow dry and brush!
